Has your claim been declined or taking too long to resolve?

I am perplexed when my colleagues tell me they have never managed an insurance claim for one of their clients. These advisers, who advise on insurances for their clients (usually among other things), have never been through the claim process. Good luck you might say? Not if you’re the first of their clients to have to make a claim on your policy.

Insurance advice is a specialist area within financial advice and the process of claims management is arguably the most specialised and significant. Lack of experience in this area invariably results in claims being delayed, clients (and advisers) not being aware they could claim for a specific injury, sub-standard terms offered by the insurer, and even claims being declined.

A good adviser is not only the client’s representative in all claims dealings with the insurer, but intimately understands each insurer’s process, the client’s policy wording and specific medical issue. They must comprehensively manage every part of this process to facilitate the best possible outcome for their client.

Have you had an insurance claim declined or the process taking a very long time to resolve? If you would like us to review your claim we would be happy to do so on a fee for service basis.

Of course, we do not charge an additional fee for managing the claims of our existing clients; this is part of the comprehensive service we provide to each of them.
